We are just all being expected to do more and more with no end in sight. Thank God it’s the weekend. Even though I have work stuff I could be doing, I am taking OFF!

What kind of recognition means the most to you?
The weather in Baltimore today is crappy and I was late to work because of all the traffic, but my boss completely understood and didn’t make me feel lousy about it. It’s those kinds of small things that make work alot less stressful–when your bosses understands we are all human and life happens.
How much more can we do with fewer and fewer people and resources? Make it stop! Doesn’t management know how to say no and prioritize the things that really need to happen? We can only do so much well . . . quality and morale are suffering.

I’m hearing no raises, no bonuses and still there is talk of management requiring more from each of us. When will management understand that we are giving all we have?
