Thank you to my wonderful boss who has been so supportive and allowed me great flexibility for caring for my daughter, who had been in the hospital for two weeks. I can’t say how much easier it made a hard situation to know I had that support and encouragement.

That is so good to hear. Not enough caring bosses like that around. If only they would get that if they help you, you’ll be much more likely to go out of your way and help them when they need it. Thanks for the refreshing expression of appreciation!
I guess I’ve been blessed in that regard with more bosses than not that value their employees and go out of their way to support them when they need it. Great to hear such stories of leadership that truly values the relationship they have with their employees.
